Melissa has been a member of the VFCC 2014 and 2015 board and currently holds the role of President of the Chamber.  She created the chamber ambassador program along with the Monday Morning Power Hour and has helped shape and grow the chamber.  Melissa’s leadership skills have helped her run her own branch of Edward Jones Financial.   Melissa brings skills and experience in finance, accounting, public relations, communications, management administration, contacts and networking.

Becky is the owner of Mathnasium of Brandon and has been a member of the chamber since 2014.  She is the Vice President and founding member of the Bloomingdale Academic Foundation, a member of the SAC committee at Cimino Elementary and Burns MS, she is also a member of BNI Prosperity in Action. Becky is a great representation of the educational aspect of our community.  She has experience in public relations, communication, management, administration non profit experience, promotions and event planning.

Jennifer Montgomery with Repair Your Tech

Vice President- Jennifer Montgomery – Repair Your Tech

Jennifer Montgomery co-owner of Repair Your Tech. She and her husband Anthony help their clients Empower YOU with Technology and pride their self on educating others how to be proactive.  Married to Anthony Montgomery of 15 years resides in Valrico with 3 wonderful children and their beloved bulldog Max. She is also currently the VP of the Valrico Fishhawk Chamber Of Commerce where she volunteers to make a better chamber for the members!

She and her husband Anthony over the past year have volunteered for the chambers aspects for Technology needs.  In addition have boosted the benefits of being a non profit and likes  looking out for new innovative ways to improve the chamber.

Scott is the owner of YoYo Juice and which is located in Plaza Bella.  Scott has been an active member and has been at most of our meetings events.  He has a warm personality and is very approachable for members.   Scott has built YoYo Juice from the ground up and has the insight for local, family owned food related businesses.  Scott would be an asset to the food vendor members in our chamber.

My love of travel and experiencing other cultures began long ago, but being in the military for almost three decades before retiring helped me realize my dreams. I have been able to travel to parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa. After taking my first cruise in 1995, I was hooked on cruising. The food, floating hotel, entertainment, and activities – all included, WOW! I could not get enough. And now that I am a parent, I take my kids on cruises and on experiences around the world.  I have numerous certifications to include my Accredited Cruise Counselor (ACC), Master Agent Certification for AM Resorts, Special Needs Travel Advocate, Royal Caribbean’s Autism Program Certification, and numerous cruise line certifications.

Currently the President of Delta Credit Restoration, Michael Holmes has spent to better part of the last two decades working with consumers and small businesses with financially related endeavors. He served as a regional business banker for several years learning the hurdles and obstacles small businesses face.  His current company was established to satisfy the growing demand for a reputable credit repair organization in the Tampa Bay area.

As the founder of the Valrico FishHawk Chamber, he wishes to continue to grow the brand of the Chamber through its communication with the community and community-related events, strengthen the foundation through continuing to standardize the logistics, and further develop its product through increased integration with county and state-led opportunities and business partnership opportunities.

Paul Haskins- Hillsborough County Water Treatment

Paul Haskins has been in the water treatment industry since 2005 and has built a career on his training and development background. He holds the highest water treatment operator license from the FDEP and is also lean six sigma certified. Mr. Haskins is a board trustee member of the FW&PCOA  Region XII, is on several committees for the FSAWWA, in addition, to his non-profit and charity work. His notable recent achievements are the 2015 FSAWWA Plant operator of the year, also,  plant awards and safety commendations. With his experience in business and government, he will be an asset to the 2017 board.








Karen Ayers

Karen is the co-owner of Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More of Valrico since 2011. Prior to Big Frog, Karen worked 33 years in various management positions in Telecommunications IT.  She has implemented large scale billing and customer service applications on projects in the U.S, Porto Rico, Belgium, France, England, and Ireland.In her career in Telecommunications, Karen gained significant experience in process development, information technology, business operations, staff management, project management, & customer service and is now applying that experience to owning and operating a small family business.

Karen was raised in Idaho, and moved to Florida in 1988. She is married to Gerald Ayers, and they have two daughters and five grandchildren.








Jeanne Baldi

Jeanne Baldi

Jeanne organizes activities and strives to accomplish goals, from being top sales for a fundraiser to graduating college with a double major.  While working in the corporate world she ensured that her creativity and drive were balanced. Planning events came as a natural progression.  Holiday parties at the office and Themed kick-off events became Masquerade Balls and Tea Parties to embrace the community. With years of volunteering with various non-profits, Jeanne has worked on committees to plan community events.  Working with customers is at the core of the jobs held by Jeanne, her first job as a cashier at Publix taught her to focus on the customer and the importance of a smile. Moving onto a customer service and then management role within the mortgage industry helped hone her organizational skills and ability to analyze and adapt quickly.

Jeanne is married and has one daughter. They share their home with a menagerie of pets, a beagle,  turtle and tortoise, never a dull moment on the home front. She is a native Floridian and spends time exploring our beautiful state. In addition, she is actively involved in Girl Scouts, mentoring girls from elementary to high school. Jeanne is also a board member for Greater Brandon Kiwanis. She has been awarded the President’s Volunteer Award for achieving over 100 hours of community service. In her spare time, she can be found curled up with her e-reader, watching her daughter at theater practice or spending time out with friends.
